1993 Tascam 424 MkI was purchased as personal first recording equipment some 7000 miles from where it lives now.

1999 PC changed its status to “indefinitely inactive”.

2008 Travelled from its original place in the world to the Pacific Northwest mainly for sentimental reasons.

2015-2020 Used mainly as a sub mixer for inserting effects in our Bugs sessions.

2021 After replacing AC adapter, belts and pinch roller occupies a proud spot in our sessions for its tape loops capabilities.

Moral of the story: Obsolete is a label. Peel it off.
